The Day You Say I Do
I am not going to tell you to smile, take a few pictures and then head on out, the day will start with me familiarizing myself with your venue, vendors, and all part of your big day. I will bear as many jobs as needed throughout the day, whether it be pinning boutonnieres, rounding up groups, grabbing drinks or pulling out my emergency hairspray. Throughout the day I will be capturing everything essential to telling your love story + checking in with you to see how I can serve you and to make sure you are getting time to enjoy time with your partner- stress-free.
The Editing
The biggest thing photography is for me is a creative outlet, a place where I can put all my ideas down. Curating a unique yet timeless editing style is my ambition. Your gallery will be crafted for hours upon hours to make sure it is a true masterpiece.
01. INQUIRE
Inquire using the contact form right here on my website, feel free to share your love story, wedding vision, and any of your needs with me! If you don’t know quite what you want or need yet that's cool too just let me know. I will get back to you in a day or two and answer all of your first questions!
02. our first date
Awh our first date! This is where we will chat over a local meal, phone call, or zoom and ultimately get to know each other better. You and your partner can ask me all of your burning questions from vendor recommendations to engagement session locations and everything in between. This may just be my favorite part as it is our first chance to truly bond and create a relationship with each other because who tf wants a stranger at their wedding.
03. plan
In the planning stage you get to choose me as your photographer if you feel we are a good fit, this will follow with a contract and invoice. However, how is a photographer who just shows up supposed to know the story they're supposed to be telling? That's like letting the kid who didn't read the book give the group presentation. When it comes to wedding photography, I don’t mess around. We must pay rent where rent is due. This is where our teamwork starts—with a BuzzFeed quiz, duh.
04. engagement sesh
So, basically, you’re going to fill me in on all the things about who you are together and apart. I will hand-select session visions with mood boards, outfit planning, and location selection. Which means you sit there and be pretty, and I’ll brainstorm the rest. Your engagement session will feel like a fun little date that a friend is taking pictures at. Honestly, it’s my favorite part of the whole process because it’s our first date too! I will guide you into prompts and poses, but you’ll realize it’s just a lot of hanging out, not so much posing. After this, we get into timeline planning and the big day itself.
05. saying "i do"
Doing the damn thing- everything we have been waiting for, the story I have been eager to tell. Your one-of-a-kind love story. I will aim to capture and preserve every little part of your story in a way that reminds you exactly how you felt in that moment. Being part of your day is something I will never take for granted and something I am so thankful and proud to be part of.
06. post-process
The final part- creating art. Every single photo is hand selected and edited. No AI and no bullshit. In a few months following you will receive a password-protected gallery containing your love story. You can download the gallery straight to your device and share it effortlessly with your family. I can’t wait for you to get all the feels when you relive your big day.
