HEY BABES, I’M LYDIA
Hey! I am Lydia and I am the girl behind Lydia Evelyn Photography. Telling my couples love stories and exercising my creativity is my jam. If you catch me on a day off I am usually hanging out with my friends or I am downtown shopping and getting a bite to eat at a local restaurant. Shamelessly, my golden retriever poe is my best friend and my favorite “person”. If I am editing your gallery or shooting you an email, I promise poe is nearby making sure the task isn’t done alone. I love my job more than anything, it is my creative outlet and the thing I jump out of bed for every morning. I cannot wait to tell YOUR timeless, one-of-a-kind love story and get to know you.

01. Adventure
One of my favorite things to experience with my couples is some sense of adventure, whether this is jumping in the lake after our shoot, grabbing some impromptu pizza after an engagement session, or maybe traveling to elope somewhere, whatever it is it is so important to have a rush of fun in whatever we are doing.
02. authentic love
Easy lovin’ - always. Being in front of my camera is not different than chilling alone with your partner! My goal is to capture the essence of your love by using unique locations, prompts instead of posing and mood board generated as a team to set the tone for your shoot. You should be able to look back at your shoot and say “ that is so us”
03. comfort
I cannot stress how important creating not only a safe but comfortable space is to me! I want your full selves here with me- knowing that there will be no judgment whatsoever. To achieve this we can grab some food, coffee, or zoom prior to your shoot to get to know each other. This way we can calm any nerves there may be of a stranger sticking a camera in your face. Know that we can set boundaries whether it’s not sharing images on social media, shooting in a more secluded area, whatever you may need- I will do my best to provide.
