I’ve always loved storytelling and even wanted to be a writer at one point. Photography became a shortcut for me; I didn’t have to write the words to express myself—I could just show it.

HEY BABE, I’M LYDIA
I am the girl boss behind Lydia Evelyn Photo. I have a special talent for falling in love with everyone I meet and the story they carry around with them. If i am not shamelessly third wheeling I am more likely than not on a plane or enjoying my home base of Minneapolis; my slice of heaven in the states. Growing up I always knew I was a business woman, buying my first camera at twelve years old and running a full business by fifteen. As the years have flown by I have curated a cinematic, photo journalistic style, with editorial touches specifically for the madly in love. I am available internationally and I am so ready to become best fucking friends.

I have a very important role to play as a wedding vendor and I do not take my privilege lightly. I have zero tolerance for homophobia of any kind, this extends to wedding vendors, guests and clients.

Every single couple brings a different story to the table and it is so respected to have different boundaries come with that. It is my highest priority to keep you in a safe creative space you feel most authentic in.
